Beneath the Bay

These are photographs of some of the jellyfish that reside in the San Francisco Bay. The photographs were taken at the Aquarium of the Bay, a public aquarium located at Embarcadero and Beach Street, at the edge of Pier 39 in San Francisco, California. The Aquarium is focused on local aquatic animals from the San Francisco Bay and neighboring waters.

Tickets to the aquarium were provided free of charge through the Discover & Go program of the San Mateo County Library System.

Quiet Moments

These works honor and record the ephemeral beauty of nature, and how that beauty appears and affects my spirit. They are recorded with a digital camera and developed in a digital darkroom. These triptych images are printed on 100% cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks, mounted on Chinese shuan paper.
